Submit your Abuse Survival Story

Storytelling may not have the biological effects of an antibiotic or offer the physical transformation of surgery, but it enables people healing from  abuse  to take control of their illness in a way that pharmaceuticals can’t.

Many cultures have long recognised the importance of telling stories. West African folklore in which the healers ask the sick.

You can read recently submitted stories or add your story below and join our abuse support network. Your story will help others to realise they are not alone in this healing journey.  It doesn't matter if its a parent, lover or child, your anonymous story will be added to the site and will be read by other people going through abuse right now.
